Worksheet - is the term for one sheet of
the Excel File.

Workbook - is one Excel file.
·
Active Cell - is the cell selected and
about to be typed data on.

Name Box - The box wherein the name of
the cell is displayed.

Formula Bar - The thin bar above the
worksheet where data entered will be displayed.
·
Column - refers to the vertical
gridlines.
·
Row - refers to the horizontal
gridlines.
·
Macro - a temporary command created by
the user.
·
Function - Excel's built in formulas to
be used by the user.
·
Formula - used for computing data;
always starts with an equal sign (=).
